Guide Dogs Queensland Provides First Therapy
       Dog to Family in Need
Thanks to generous supporters in our community,
Guide Dogs Queensland have been able to
match five-year-old Artie with ‘Esme’, their first
                 Therapy dog.
An additional $92,500 is needed to make the Pets as Therapy
program a reality in Queensland. If the donation total can
be achieved by the end of the financial year, Guide Dogs
Queensland can launch the Pets as Therapy program statewide
and provide other Queenslanders and their families with the
       chance of a normal future.
Before Esme came into Artie’s family, his parents Katie and Mark
shared their heartbreak and struggle seeing Artie excluded and
isolated from everyday situations because of his Autism.
“Esme has made an enormous impact on our little family and
I can’t thank Guide Dogs and its’ supporters enough for this
       incredible gift,” Katie said.
A gift of $5, or $10 or even an extra generous $15 will provide
the resources to match a trained therapy dog with a family in
       need. https://guide-dogs-queensland.giveeasy.org/pets-as-
